Что он проверяет до этого момента, не разобрался. Но рут не упоминается точно. Вроде из build.prop информация об устройстве соответствует:

На приставке доступен ADB через сеть:
Нужно определить IP приставки в локальной сети. Можно посмотреть IP в настройках сети или на роутере. Если используется провод Ethernet то в настройках приставки можно задать статический IP.
Дальше качаем adb, распаковыем. открываем коммандную строку, переходим в папку с adb.
Проверяем IP ping XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX где заменяем XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX на IP приставки (наприме ping 192.168.1.100).
Подключение adb connect XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX (adb connect 192.168.1.100)
Переходим в режим рута adb root. после этого соединение порвется.
Опять подключаемся adb connect XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX (adb connect 192.168.1.100)
После этого можно работать с ADB как обычно: передавать команды, отправлять/скачивать файлы и т.п.
Например:
adb shell uname -a - версия ядра
adb shell ls /dev/block/ - список список разделов во внутренней памяти
adb shell ls /system/ - список файлов и каталогов в /system
adb pull /system/build.prop - скачать файл build.prop к себе на комп
и так далее, на что хватит фантазии :)
Для запись в /system надо как обычно сделать mount -o rw,remount /system

Перезагрузка в recovery:

adb reboot recovery
Recovery унылое, заводское. Надо искать способ поставить CWM или TWRP

Fastboot на приставке не удалось обнаружить.
Еще есть загрузчик U-Boot.
